Lifeskills and Job Club courses starting soon

One of the things we are passionate about is helping local people feel confident that they can managing the things life throws at them.

We run regular courses to help in different ways. Our Lifeskills and Job Club courses are beginning again soon. Both Courses start 1st October 2021 and run weekly until December 2021.

Lifeskills.

Money impacts all areas of our lives: what we can or can’t afford, our relationships, what we eat, our health and wellbeing and much more. Your local CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future. If you want to see your money go further, find ways to save money, have more time and less hassle in your day to day life, then Life Skills is for you.

‘During the Lifeskills course I feel like I learnt a lot from budgeting to considering how healthy food is by reading the labels on products. In one session we planted a small plant to take home, which I may add is still alive!!! The biggest thing that has helped me though was a little card that we were given to keep in our wallets that makes you stop and think before you buy something. It says, Do I need it? Could I borrow it? Or could I get it cheaper elsewhere? All in all I would recommend the course to anyone considering it, I enjoyed meeting new people and learning essential life skills. ’ Grant - Life Skills member

Job Club.

Our CAP Job Club is a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment. It's a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work. Being unemployed can be hard to deal with on your own, but being part of our CAP Job Club means you face the challenge with other people in similar situations.
