The Well

The former Hull City Council Library building was taken on by River City Church during the last government lockdown, at a time when our community needed more support and hope than ever. Our plan is to listen carefully to what you, the community, really need and want.

Our Current Services…

 

East Hull Foodbank

Hull Foodbank East is based here at The Well and runs every Tuesday and Wednesday 11:30am-2pm. Some of us are finding it hard to make ends meet right now. If you or your family are finding it difficult to put food on the table pop in and see our friendly and discreet team.

Courses

We run a range of courses and drop in sessions covering a variety of needs and interests, from a Clothing Repair Cafe to Cooking and Wellbeing Courses. Pop in to find out what’s on.

Community Fridge

We are a community fridge for EMS a wonderful company that make exceptional quality meals for affordable prices. If you need help feeding yourself or your family right now, we’ve got you covered.

Warm Space Drop In

We are funded generously by Northern Gas Networks to open our warm space once a week on a Thursday 11:30am-1:30pm. Come in and join us. Any one can pop in an enjoy:

A warm meal and hot drinks, fun activities, access to our free clothes bank, we’ll also send people away with a home
cooked meal that they can warm up at home.

If you know someone that will struggle to heat their home over Winter or wants somewhere to meet friendly people please let them know about our warm space.
